NJ 16-Year-Old Permit Program – 6-Hour Behind-the-Wheel Training
If your teenager is turning 16, Divine Driving School makes the entire process easy. We assist with permit paperwork, provide the required vision test, and complete the official 6-hour behind-the-wheel training for NJ’s Early Bird GDL program.
What’s Included in Our 16-Year-Old Package
1. NJMVC Permit Processing
We help families complete forms, provide required documentation lists, and guide you through the application process.
2. Free Vision Test
Performed at our office. Students must bring glasses or contacts if needed.
3. Six Hours of Behind-the-Wheel Drives
Completed in three 2-hour lessons. Students learn:
- Steering, braking, and smooth acceleration
- Lane changes
- K-turns
- Parallel parking
- Intersection safety
- Highway basics (optional based on student comfort)
4. Permit Validation
Once training is complete, we validate the permit so your teen can legally practice.
5. Road Test Scheduling
We secure a road test appointment and offer test-day services.

- We obtain the learner’s permit from the NJ MVC
- Red Decals and Vision test included
- 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training

Complete 6-Hour Program + Road Test Service
Includes everything in Offer 1, PLUS:
- Road test appointment assistance
- Road test day service (pickup, warm-up practice, and use of our vehicle for the test)
